Corrections Policy
Last Updated: September 2026
COOU News is committed to providing accurate and useful information. Although we take reasonable steps to verify information before publication, errors may occasionally occur.
We welcome responsible feedback from readers who identify factual errors.
How to Report a Correction
If you believe that an article contains incorrect information, please email:
newscoou@gmail.com
Please include:
- The article title
- The article URL
- The specific information you believe is incorrect
- An explanation of the problem
- The correct information, if known
- A credible source supporting the correction, where available
Reviewing Correction Requests
We review correction requests before making changes.
A difference in opinion does not necessarily constitute a factual error.
We may request additional information where necessary.
Confirmed Errors
When a factual error is confirmed, we may:
- Correct the relevant section
- Update the article
- Add clarification
- Correct the headline where necessary
- Add a correction note for significant errors
The approach will depend on the seriousness and nature of the error.
Updating Old Information
Some information becomes outdated rather than technically incorrect.
For example, an admission deadline may pass, an examination date may change, or an application process may be updated.
Where appropriate, we may update older articles to reflect new information.
Readers should still verify important time-sensitive information through official sources.
Editorial Disagreements
We do not necessarily consider differences in interpretation, opinion, or editorial judgment to be factual errors.
However, legitimate concerns about factual accuracy will be reviewed.
Good-Faith Requests
Correction requests should be submitted respectfully and in good faith.
We reserve the right not to act on requests that are abusive, unsupported, irrelevant, or intended to manipulate editorial content.
